Driver License Renewal procedure

is there anybody knows or who could experience in renewing driver license...
what will be the procedure in renewing driver license if my license card was lost....what I need to show to traffic department? ..my driver license will be expire by this August 2016,
please need help on what will be my first step to move on...

If you go to the maroor office, meet the captain who are very cooperative, understanding and helpful people and he will guide you. I suggest it is always better to renew the licence before its expiry. I do not know if there is a penalty on renewing after its expiry.
thank you acchabacha.......so it's possible that I can present only my QID without application forms and they can help me to renew my driver license? is there penalty if I will renew after the expiration?
If you have a copy of the licence, go with it to the Traffic Police and they will help you out. They may be able to find out the details of your driving licence through your Qatar ID.
