Mobile Apps at QITCOM 2014
The QITCOM 2014 Conference kicked start today and will be held until 28th of May at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
Local businesses showcased their latest innovations and technology in the ICT industry.
We took a look at different mobile Apps featured at the conference, and here is what we found out--
Government agencies going mobile
Both the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Interior offer a wide range of services through their mobile Apps. Baladiya offers request serivces in English, Arabic and Urdu.
The Ministry of Interior offers Residence Permit, Visa, Exit Permit and Traffic services.
Locally developed game app
Giddam is a game produced by a professional Qatari studio, GIRNAAS.
Giddam is a racing game that allows you to play against friends or other online players. Up to six players can race against each other from anywhere in the world. Use power-ups to move fasters, or use weapons against your opponents to slow them down.
Entertainment
Evently is an information platform for events, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and concerts in the Middle East.
We also recently launched an app for Windows with a clean layout and excellent content. We are the ultimate gateway to Qatar. We want people want to connect, participate and share.
