Qatar heritage, elderly people & vegetable fruits shops.
I came to Qatar in 2010 March with my very young kids. In a nearby vegetable shop I was visitibg with my super annoyed daughter of two years old with bad toothache. One Qatari gentleman asked the vendor to wash a tiny carrot. My daughter was now chewing it and smiling back to him.
During the weekdays these old elderies visit the fruits buying spree and they have many stories to tell from old times. I really miss my father in law lot many times when I talk to few felas. They are so sweet humble and happy heart just like Father Emir. Such a nice gesture from them always.
My Tamil neighbor was in a Baskin Robin shop few years back and she was short of change and one Qatari gentleman offered to pay for her.Her husband told to pay back but he refused to take money back, because their daughter was nagging so they took the box of 6 donuts.
One day we all are going to leave this Earth empty handed. But few people realoze it and help around.God bless Qatar.
