Worst Columbiano Coffee in Ramada

Qatar Idols
By Qatar Idols

Me, my friends, my collegues and my groups often visit coffee shops everynight especially weekend. we used & often visit coffee beanery, starbucks, le notre, coffee cottage, dairy queen, coffee bean, al-mandarin and many more...

not only its product but treating and meeting customer's satisfaction is the best essential part of business that's why more and more people are coming and enjoying their stay. we can noticed that even ordinary days, this knowned coffee shops are packed of customers.

a new coffee shop opened recently and we tried visiting the place. we loved the interior, we love the place, we love the crews and we enjoyed our drinks. the following day, i've encourage more of my friends to visit and that went out into a nightmare. while we're waiting for the others, we tried taking shots inside with friends, and new friends which we normally do with some famous coffee shops.... while we're enjoying it, the manager came to us and said, pls stop taking pictures, with impoliteness take note. yes, we were shocked and surprised. that starts that we decided to walk out and changed our plans. instead of encouraging us or there is a good way in dealing with customers, this manager is rude and maleducated. can't he think how much sales they will take from our group that night? with total of 27. we can market their place because how many are we in the group? plus how many circle of friends we have.

their just new in the business/industry and he should study more about the market so how i make a wish for him a very good luck to their business - compared to other coffee shops around ramada. they are the 3rd establishment set in that place/area besides Chilis and im pretty sure sooner or later there will be 4th to come soon. maybe next month or after three months, or six months... hahahaah! how unlucky they are if that happens soon.

ROBIN PO...... I cannot help to think that our fellow QLers must know why this thread started...regarding this so called "manager"...so let me lay out the details on what had transpired ....

we have agreed to meet at around 8 pm ... I arrived early simply because my office is very near Colombiano...and still have that same intense good feeling last week when we visited this place.. so i waited inside...and stepped out knowing that my friends aren't there yet ...when i returned, there were at least 4 or 5 of my friends sitting ...

and discussing some things.

after noticing no ladies wearing black dress/ abaya. i began to take pix of my frineds (only them).. then one after another came, until there were more of us. i'm still clicking my camera.. when a (fat)man in suit approached me and straightfrowardly said STOP TAKING PICTURES".( in a loud tone) and i said what?... .."STOP TAKING PICTURES" !!!. he uttered again... this time i answered him back . i'm only taking pix of my friends.. what's wrong with that... then he stepped out and went outside and sit... another man wearing uniform said no its cool go ahead take pix of your friends !!! he's really nice and i thought its already settled... until this man in suit, butt in again..and keep trying to get nearer as if he wants to swallow me whole.. but i kept my distance not to create ...you know ... and by that time i already kept my cmera inside its case.. we could have stayed if we were treated right ... after all what we need is just to enjoy our night... so we went to another place.....

we decided not to go back anymore...

what an A**, if i would've just come yesterday ... would throw him from the second floor ... that itlog man naman ... really sad to hear as i was expecting something like that since the last time ... maybe they hold it last time because we were new customers, or they thought that we are one time customers and would never come back ... well, for sure now we won't ...

ROBIN PO.... such a very nice place... BE PUT INTO WASTE if the management don't act on this .... there are lots of coffee shops around ramada .. if you want to stay in this turf ... you should consider training this person or else kick him out...THE MANAGER is very CONFRONTATIONAL and ARROGANT !!!!!!

general manager...a disappointment:(

doesn't even know how to talk to customers properly...

and when we left he still had the nerve to talk behind our backs...the tall guy(store manager) really tried to assure us that there's nothing to worry about... but after he listened to our explanation..the GM suddenly stormed in again and really tried to insists his point ...

well whats the use... we can easily drink coffee at home or at the office.. it's the place..the friends.. and the general feel that matters... so for me... Columbiano in Ramada is very disappointing... too bad.. many lined up coffee nights was cancelled in their place .... better to find a place where people are warm and accomodating...

that's basically the whole concept of the cafe' thing... right??

to our kabayans there...serving as baristas and crew.. you're great!!! it's your boss:( baka makita na lang namin kayo saibang place pero definitely

out na yang place na yan salistahan ng coffee get togethers namin....

Carpe Diem....

the manager doesn't understnd the FULL meaning of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! he needs to attend series of trainings and seminars!! I wonder how he became a manager???

tsk..tsk..better change the manager or else columbiano will shutdown!!! REASON: poor customer relationship from the manager to the customers!!

COLUMBIANO...another customer service problem unfortunately not by the crew but THE MANAGER. another discrimination act? or just plain ignorance of the job due to lack of training on customer service. very bad...i wanted to check your place...but seems like i lose interest. mangement? hope you can check this issue before its too late...

sus, kung pwede lang... di lang batok ang aabutin nya. laking crame 'to noh! di nya lang alam... baka may gripo pa sya sa tagiliran... hahahaha!

well, i don't have to level myself to him. he's just an id__t! trying to be a good manager but he's not. baka nga ipa-recite ko ang Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)ng coffee shop nila hindi nya ma-recite sa akin, mawalan sya ng trabaho. no way! kawawa ang pamilya nya.

pero im sure, magdidiwang ang mga crews....

in fairness the food is very good. For a GM to act like that is unbecoming... The nerve!

Last week we go there (same group but not all) its was ok the only comment last week is they are trying to shut up the customer and not to make noise why is this a library? then last night me and my friends ( we are all 28) decided to comeback in that said venue COLUMBIANO (take note its a new shop) bec. we see that this is a nice venue to held a meeting new and clean not much customers but wait while waiting for the other members the GM(Fat and small guy) tells us not allowed to take photos its ok for us but pls. say it in a nice way not shouting he has no manners. and one thing why u make ur shop with a nice interior if u dont want to show it in public just a waste of money right? much better make it in black color same on his attitude.marketing strategy is bad need to send this guy to attend a seminar on how to treat your customer.

But infairness not all bad the other manager is good (the tall one) and the crew are great friendly and attentive.

And Paging Baladiya! why they allowed smokers inside the shop at the second floor without proper ventilation (exhause fan) i thought u have campaign about this? why u allowed this? bec. this shop is better than Starbucks? hehehe... i hope so!

try to look at it from his point of view:

if there were some Ladies " that dont want to have their picture taken - directly or in directly-" and made a fuss about it,

he would have lost his place as a whole...

other point of views are possible too
