Ive been working in one good company for almost 3mos but until now my application is always been rejected (immigration), I want to give up, there is still one company who is willing to hire me (dont want to loose the other opportunity).. but the problem is,, how can i resigned from here if the manager(Q) is assuring me that everything will be fine and not to worry ,but i dont know how soon coz ive been waiting it for a long time ..
Is there a possibily that if i refuse their promise they can send me back home?? they are locals of course they have the power to do things.. oooooooops Im a local hire though

Should i take the risk to tell him that i want to accept the offer of the other company or just wait for their promise :-(

Since you have your passport and didn't sign any contract from this company, just inform them firmly what you really feel and worries, then go.

They can't do anything about it. Just make sure that the other company who will hire you will process your visa issue ASAP.

Transfer of sponsorship of a local hire depends on a number of factors, among those are the position and salry of the job specially if this is with givernment or a company subject to Qatarization

You may have done a CID clearance or not depending on the case ... and this is the stage I am asking for

Have you got your CID clearance certificate ...

If this is the one that is rejected then you should look for some other company

Check with your management what is the nature of the problem and if they think it will not be agreed let them give you a deadline in your case this deadline has to be before your residence expires, otherwise you will be in trouble ... let them know that you will be free to look for other employment if they can not get your approval by the date they tell you ... try to be clear on this with no hard feelings

Good luck

Ive seen this happening a lot, a fellow worker with me had the same problem, was assured by my manager that his visa will be taken care of and not to worry and stuff.

6 Months of reassurance and suddenly gets a call for deportation and was basically used without any good salary for those 6 months...

Ask ur manager what will be the max time it will take and if he fails to complete ur papers by that time...then find someone who will !

Whats ur occupation and nationality btw ? and are u aplying in government or private sector ?

Thanks logicsyas..

My answers to above:

1. Im still under my previous sponsorship which will expire in 2mos time.

2.I have my passport.

3.Stage of application?- dont get it sorry..

4.I did not sign any contract just an offer letter

5.What does the contract say- dont have it yet

I know i have all the right, maybe im just afraid to open my worries :-(

You need to consider a number of issues:

1. What is your current visa status?

2. Where is your passport

3. What stage is your application at?

4. Did you sign a contract?

5. What does the contract say?

On face value, as long as you are not under their sponsorship and you have your passport with you, you can quit and seek employment elsewhere

You need to speak to your employer, explain your situation and your worries and see what they have to say to you

PM me if you need detailed advise
