if the profession on your Qatar ID states "Engineer", you can get visa on arrival...

My profession is a Quantity surveyor...Do i get a visa on arrival when i reach dxb????

If i apply for the visa directly in the UAE embassy here, how long it might take???

I want to bring my wife to Doha on Visit Visa only for 2 weeks, my company cannot arrange for the Visa since I do not have a House Rent Contract since I am staying in a sharing accomadation. How can I get the Visa done without a House Agreement under my name? Is there any alternative?
