US: The Dishonest Broker - An Interesting Read

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been both a major concern of American diplomacy since 1967 and the arena of persistent failure.

There are many reasons for America’s failure to broker a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians but the most fundamental one is that it is a dishonest broker. As a result of its palpable partiality towards Israel, America has lost all credibility in the eyes not only of the Palestinians but of the wider Arab and Muslim worlds.

The so-called peace process has been all process and no peace. Peace talks that go nowhere slowly provide Israel with just the cover it needs to pursue its expansionist agenda on the West Bank.

Suleiman - perhaps your leaders who once this problem is solved will not have nothing much else to shout or make loud noises about

The creation of Israel was a mistake. Yes Jews lived there before the Arabs came but that was over a thousand years ago. However the Palestinians don't help them self. If you have a bully in the playground you don't keep poking him.

The only people that benefits from this are the Palestinian leaders and Hezbollah.

Good old joe ,, What is happening in Palestine is my mother's FAULT ,, Happy now?

Ok, Now after knowing that it is my mother's fault,,, Tell me how to solve it? and Why the innocents have to pay and die (unarmed)?

And for God sake ,, If it is not Israel whom to blame for what is happening in Palestine, whom to blame?

You might be right in many other cases, but for SURE not this time.

Perhaps if the Arab League or GCC was giving the Palesyinians equal or greater amounts of support than the US gives Israel, things may change.

But much easier to blame the US for doing the wrong thing than to question why others do nothing at all.

Sad, we overwhelmingly elect such leaders ourselves and still don't try to understand the repetitions of mistake. We prefer to speak and show ourselves being better to the world (marketing/management-skills) in our daily lives when we meet friends and on friendly get-to-gather at week ends. Does a leader hear to us and he does what he wants, but we take pride to present our views.

The solution is only one in any of the circumstance.

These are the disabilities of knowing to talk with people or governments. The world is growing finer in its abilities to convince people to talk (marketing/management-skills/etc), which we learn through our education systems (even at QL). The resultant of this process is only negative, man have used it only for his self. Combined with rules of democracy being supported for freedom of speech.

When will we understand this fact.

Yes because Palestinians don't kill Israeli civilians but Israel freely do it so often.

How long can you blame the americans and the israelies for this mess. The leaders in Egypt, Syria, Libya, Tunisia and most everwhere else fooled their people by blaming Israel for all their sufferings until the people finally woke up and realized it was their own leaders and their cronies who were the main cause of their sufferings and being left behind

America also gives significant aid to the Palestinians as well but that is not mentioned here
