Ugly Driving Habits or Bad Traffic Rules

Ugly Drivers or Bad Traffic Rules.

I am from Dubai, UAE, and we follow the international rules in the road traffic.
Here in Doha, Qatar, I experienced that the following.
1.None of drivers keep line traffic. They Qatar license drivers change the line any time any where and without signals.
2.I observed that some of them drive the car between two tracks.
3.In Round about the drivers change the track from extreme right to left turn or making u-turn too.
4.Most of them never use the signals.
5.Parking of the cars very funny.. some people occupying the two car space for one car.
6.100% Guarantee, if we park the car somewhere, within hour some of the drivers make minimum some scratch on front bumper or back side of our vehicle, while they try to parking their vehicles, or when they move the vehicles from the parking space.
7.Where we can complaint this kind…..Totally carless drivers.
8.If those drivers coming to Dubai and if they driving the vehicles there, every day they will get fines and traffic charges.
9.How it will come discipline in road traffic. Who have the responsibility

Yep, Qatar driving style is very bad, I sense lots of frustration on the roads. They will learn it the hard way.

I am from Dubai, UAE, and we follow the international rules in the road traffic.

Here in Doha, Qatar, I experienced that the following.- HERE WE FOLLOW NATIONAL RULES WE DON’T FOLLOW OTHR THAN LOACL RULES.

1.None of drivers keep line traffic. They Qatar license drivers change the line any time any where and without signals.- HERE WHILE DRIVING WE DON’T DISTURB OTHERS.

2.I observed that some of them drive the car between two tracks.- THAT IS SIGN OF RESPECT TOWARD OTHERS, WHO EVER IY MAY CONCERNED, WHICH SIDE, ANY BODY CAN OVERTAKE FROM BOTH THE SIDE.GOOD SIGN OF HUMINITY.

3.In Round about the drivers change the track from extreme right to left turn or making u-turn too.- DON’T ENVEY TOWARD EXPERT THEY ARE SELFMADE PEOPLE. PRAISE THEIR SKILL EVENTHOGH NONE OF QATARI DRIVING INSTITUTE TEACH LIKE THAT BUT TALENT & SUCCESS RUN BEHIND HARD WORKER.

4. Most of them never use the signals. – WHO WILL BELIEVE YOU?? INTERNATIONAL EXPERT DRIVING HOLDER MAKING FALSE STATEMENT INCOME OF QATAR TRAFIC DEPARTMENT IS NEGLIGIBLE WHILE COMPARE TO U.A.E.

5.Parking of the cars very funny.. some people occupying the two car space for one car.- NOT LIKE DUBAI WHILE PARKING IN YOUR BULDING OR CAR PARK YOU HAVE TO PAY. SEE HOW QATAR’S LIFESTYLE, EVEN ONE PERSON CAN ENJOY TWO PARKING SPACE WITHOUT PAYING.TAKE SOME PHOTO GRAPH & SHOW UAE PEOPLE TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM QATAR PEOPLE.

6.100% Guarantee, if we park the car somewhere, within hour some of the drivers make minimum some scratch on front bumper or back side of our vehicle, while they try to parking their vehicles, or when they move the vehicles from the parking space.- SUCH WEAR & TEAR YOU MUST BEAR.CAR IS FOR YOU ,YOU ARE NOT FOR CAR.IN SHARJAH I FOUND THAT PEOPLE ARE MAKING SKRETCH WITH HELP OF 1 DIRHAM COIN IF YOU PARK IN THE STREET BUT OCCUPY SOMEONE’S PERMANENT PARK.

7. Where we can complaint this kind…..Totally carless drivers.- NO NEED DON’T TRY TO EX SMART

8.If those drivers coming to Dubai and if they driving the vehicles there, every day they will get fines and traffic charges.- THEY KNOW VERY WELL THAT’S WHY THEY ARE NOT GOING THERE & ENJOYING DRIVING HERE.

9.How it will come discipline in road traffic. Who have the responsibility.- DON’T CARE, WITHOUT BOTHERING MUCH ABOUT RESPOSIBILITY HERE ACCIDENT ARE LESS WITH COMPARE TO U.A.E & PEOPLE LIVE & DRIVE PEACEFULLY WITHOUT CARING INTERNATIONAL LAW.

Welcome to Doha! At the moment the driving is positively polite due to the reduced volume of traffic as we get closer to Ramadan. Just wait until after the holidays when the school traffic is back and Doha returns to 'normal'.

The problem is ... BOTH.

Once on a boulevard wgere I was in the right side I came face to face with a car driven by a lady. She wanted me to back my car, twice the size of hers, so she could turn into a side street!

I refused. I'm not going to get into the details but at the end police was called and would you believe the officer tried to explain that I should be more toletant because the other driver "is a woman!"

Incredulously I said "as a police officer, are you telling me whenever I see a woman driving in the opposite direction, say around a roundabout, putting my children's life and mine at risk, I should just throw my hands up and say 'oh well, it's a woman!'?"

Yes, police is practically impotent to enforce the law except on the Asian labourers.

If you wanted to compare drivers then you should have picked a better example, Dubai is awful too.

15. Some drivers complain others for their own fault..LOLSS

By anonymous• 9 Jul 2012 16:29
anonymous

14. Some drivers who are suddenly going to your lane will get angry at you when you stop suddenly.

And the other thing that I see is that you'll see a lot of other expatriates feeling like they're the king of the road.

10. Some people do flash light / horn, even you are going on the maximum speed limit of that road.

11. Some people may block your correct, legal parking with their wrong parking...

12. Some people show some ugly actions if you horn/light them for their mistakes...

wait and see for more....

The UAE is poor and needs to make money from its drivers by charging them for Salik and for speeding and for being bad drivers.

Qatar is rich, so it doesn't need to earn any revenue from giving fines to bad drivers. So we can drive as badly as we want in Qatar. Yay!
