Image from Toronto's Walk A Mile in Her Shoes parade to end violence against women. Walk on!
I know the purpose is to end violence against women but..... seeing men in stilleto shoes freaks me out!o_O!
that's what people should do ,so we can all live peacefully ,put yourself in the other person's shoe!
Wow! It was high heeled shoe. Horay! They made it. :)
It was cool. A fun walk using heels. ;)
Well, if nothing else, at least some men know now how it feels to wear shoes like those. Maybe, just maybe, they will be offering their chairs to ladies wearing those from now on...there is hope!
I doubt you'd find them in his size UK.
Miss Mimi maybe Mr Mimi would do a nice job in those red shoes..:)
The same thing...
I think it's a good initiative to increase awareness....but what's with the socks? (lol)
Rather keep my little toe Brit.
There is a theory thatamputation of the little toe makes the shoes more comfortable and easier to walk in ..
I'm really impressed with the guy in the red stilettos. No way could I wear those.
there's almost nothing you can't do in toronto. as long as you don't hurt anyone.
it's so free and open, women can walk around topless! although i wish some wouldn't :P
Parade for? Is it not achieving it's goal and touching people worldwide? Workshops and forums don't reach as many people. I applaud them.
st100282 said This is a stupid tradition ...
what tradition?
This is a stupid tradition .... Some day you will also see men walking in G-strings and Bikinis ....
Woman Empowerment can not be achieved by men , merely by waling in sandals .... you got to strengthen the law enforcement for that ..
Honestly, I don't buy these gimmicky things where people do something gimmicky (Like go on a parade, or wear a certain colour of clothing), in order to 'raise awareness' about something. Most of the people forget the message and it's just a 'fun thing' for them. A much better thing to do would be engage in an activity where you're sitting people down and talking to them, having workshops etc, in order to educate them. Wearing high heels doesn't educate anyone.
They would get arrested in Qatar for cross dressing! (and then get beaten in jail)
Its quite easy once you learn to keep a straight back and look forward rather than down :O)
I'm impressed, couldn't walk ten feet in any of those. Loving the striped socks:)
