Things for Boys

I've got two boys (14 and 11) who will be accompanying us. Is there much for them to do in Doha? Is there a Boy Scout troop (presently they are both Candian Scouts) there?

yeah this is a must for all new guys in town - tells you dos and don'ts of living in this place and gives you loads of info on what to do and where to go - you can buy it from Carrefor and other stores or free in hotels I think.

It's a Doha users-guide. It's published and updated every three months.

Hi Don,

Yes your boys will have lots of sporting activities to keep them busy. I believe there are also Boy Scouts in Qatar.

Hmmm, let me grab my marhaba...

ok found it...

canadians in qatar: [email protected]. - Sandra Ventin organises.

Doha Scouts Group: Samantha Gribble 4323703- although it says ages from 6 to 10, so I'm not sure if there is anything available for older kids.

When you arrive is best to get a copy of the Marhaba, lots of info there.

Sorry, I'm not sure about job opportunities for your wife. I would think that a dietitian would find lots of work here...

All the best,

Butterfly
