Supernurse, I was a bit unprecise when I wrote it, I meant Food produced in the Western World, which I know is under strict Control - (And since I wrote it like this I do not say that Other parts of the World do not have control- Only that this is something I do not know about)- Understood ?
I hope nobody takes that list seriously. No scientific source is cited which doesn't make a valid document of grounded research and thus to inform people.
Ditto Alexa's comment.

Thanks for the thread Casanova. Very informative indeed.
Well, I wouldn't say any of these items "should be avoided at all costs". It's just that they must not be consumed in excess. What is excessive and what is not depends on the item istelf. In short, "moderation" is the key word here.
Aspartame for example is an inorganic (artificial) sugar that is used as a sweetener. (You can also see it being used as"sugar" sachets in coffee houses in hotels and resorts). Research in recent years has shown the hamful effects if it is consumed excessively.
Flouride, as we all know, is an essential chemical in water that prevents tooth decay. From my experience in the water supply industry and in the lectures I used to give many years ago, I always stress on the importance of flouride in drinking water and water treatment process. The strange thing about flouride is that: if there is none present in drinking water, the long term effect is tooth decay. However, if the dosage of flouride is in excess of 0.1mg/l (or parts per million), the long term effect is blackening of the teeth! Strange, isn't it? Ultimately therefore, "moderation" is the key.
I would like to know where this comes from, I don't believe it. THe Things mentioned might be dangerous in great doses, but as applied in at leasst Western Food, it is not. Formaledhyde which is mentioned is also carcogenic but not after it product is produced.
Don't scare people without producing evidence that it is dangerous.
