One of the most repeated themes in lectures was something like “give a man a fish, or teach him to fish.”
The idea being to instigate discussion about whether we should offer social aid to the needy or if it would be more correct to give them a job, teach them a profession so they can turn themselves around.

There's an old proverb that says never teach 100% what you know or they will step on your head the next time

The policy is more like: "give them a Landcruiser and when they crash they need to buy a new one, but don't teach them how to drive".

君達が自己に忠実に話す時、

そこに過去や未来は関わりなく

真実が永遠に光り輝く。

自己に忠実に話す、

それのみが真実の正統な在り様なのである。

A noble thought, but as we've seen, most nations / politicians would not agree.

If you teach them to fish, then they are no longer dependent on you..
