i checked Al Duhail Shooting Range (along Arab League St. near Landmark) last Friday, which i understand is the home range of Qatar Shooting Club. being a Friday, it was closed but i was able to see the range...

I am not positive on this but from the police officers that I have talked to, the shooting range it is members only. You have to be invited by a member and I am not sure if you are allowed to shoot or not. I as well shoot competition matches back home. I shoot three gun match

and high power long range. In fact I had just purchased a new rifle and sited it in before I went to China for work. Right after that I came here. It would be great if we had a place to shoot but I do believe that civilians are not allowed to own firearms in Qatar.
