Respect other people's opinion

"Respect other people's opinion."

The last thing you want to happen is to get into an argument. When someone talks to you, remove the tendency to make your own judgments. Respect their decisions and their opinions. Treat them as individuals with the mind on their own. You really cannot teach others how they should feel about something.

be a better person

it doesnt mean u need to agree  with other peoples opinion (some opinion are invalid but atleast try to show them that u respect them,,, then ignore it sometimes its hard to respect a person specially when their opinion are getting preachy and slightly annoying but manage to smile then kaliwalli........) "You really cannot teach others how they should feel about something."Keep in mind the saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  The best way to teach respect is to show respect. . .

UkEng, you have no nerve for arts. Randy Newman is a renowned writer and musician. He has probably studied English literature and he probably 'plays' with words. And if you knew him, you would not take him serious. Try the same with me, por favor!

I would say we should ignore other people's opinions. If we take them too seriously we might end up buying something we did not want initially. A salesman will tell you all kinds of things just to sell! It's better to have your own opinion, or, it's better to know what you want than to listen to others. Just my opinion. Ignore it!

Respecting anothers opinion is subjective - depends on the person, situation and opinion. Need not agree and need not accept it either. Everyone has a right to express their opinion. If you dont agree to it you can say it but choose less hurtful words in reply to it.

We don't have to respect other people's opinions all the time.  but it is considered good manners to do so because it shows that you not only respect the other person's views but you are respecting them as a person too. It shows that you value what they have to say and it shows that you are more intelligent person as well because it means you can take other people's views to help make your own viewpoint. If you only ever heard one viewpoint, ie from your mother, then you would probably just think the same as her but if you hear other people's viewpoints then it gives you a more rounded perspective and you can make your own decision forthwith! Hope this helps
