organize the event last time, it was Mr.Islam who did all the job. Might look like an easy job, but was calling everyone and getting the confirmation from them and log that in a paper in addition to booking the place. We can't talk about it now I guess, .. it is the end of the week. These things needs to be done in the beginning of the week so we can know by the end who is still 'in' and how is now 'out'.

We played last time in Doha Colleage. We need to book the place for one hour and share the cost of the booking. Time can be from 7 to 8, 8 - 9 no problems .. if we have the right number and the playground .. then there should be no problems ..

playing football this Saturday? 1 or 2 times in a week is not enough .. so how about 1 or 2 every month? At least we gotta organize it once in a week .. Most of the players did not come last time or we would talk about it and agree to something there.

im now kinda busy in work and donno how it will look like with our football meeting !

I would suggest we do it on regular basis! like 1 or 2 times a month!

Well the title is not actually 100% accurate. I AM interested, but hesitant to commit fully until I know exactly what days and times we can play because of my crazy schedule at the moment.

I love his sport and used to play semi pro back home (Canada) almost a decade ago. I had an awful injury though and am limited in how much I can run now (because of pins in my ankle). That's no biggie though as I usually don't run much anyways (I'm a keeper). But my question is...indoors: is it like on a handball court, with goalies? or 5 a side with no keeper? I just ask because if it's the latter I might as well save time and just look for something else. I hope its with keepers as I have been dying to play for a year now, but just haven't found any recreational leagues to play in.

This is a good venue for indoor football, however, we were playing there and got banned because some of our guys wore black soled shoes and marked the court, a bit unfair as they did not mention this nor are any signs posted. SO PLEASE take note

if i come there and told that no body is allowed in then should i punch the gaurd :P

OK guyz i decided i will be there what so ever ! even if one person came ill be glad but i hope we will be more than one ! all ppl who gave me their numbers got a sms from me ! ill get a friend from work to play though he has no clue about football but he is intrested of meeting new ppl and i didnt play soccer since a long time and im over weighted but ill give my best !

At the beginning you see a lot of people and that is what encourage you to come and meet new people and maybe make it a weekly habit. The more we get close to the Saturday, the less people we found to play with us. I did not play for a long time and I don't think that I would do any good, but the idea is to meet new people have fun and enjoy our time for a while. Com'on guys, it is only 1 hour.

Pitch is already booked at Doha college at saturday 05/05/07 from 08:30 pm till 09:30 pm !

It will cost us 165 QAR per hour , so a small donation of aprox. 15 QAR per player will be a must !

Indoors pitch im talking about is rubber not hard ground...and the ppl i play with every Tuesday are 40+ years old if not 50+.

I'm beginning to feel the effects of age and countdown of my biological clock. I don't know if my joints would welcome pounding a hard surface for an hour or hour and a half.

We can play in the Doha College Indoors pitch paying 200QR or less per hour... If we get 2 6-aside team and share the rent. I've been playing there every Tuesday for the past 5 years, and still playing.
