I think i understand where you are coming from...

Intrinsically people don't change at their core they can try to behave in a different manner they can also try to be someone they are not, but the truth is it can make you a very unhappy person.

My own experience was I tried to change who I was when I came here, knowing full well the person that I am would never be allowed to fit in here, actually the truth is the person who I really am would have been jailed and deported a long time ago. I have let it go far to long that I don't even recognize ME, anymore and in truth it really has lead me to do a something that while under my normal circumstances would not have effected me or those that I love, but because it is here, my actions to say the least were stupid and I have hurt people I care about. i can not take that back I cannot tell those involved how sorry I am enough, but the underlying truth is that even though I thought I could change, I am who I am and I always will be. If you fell any less about me for that, than that is your prerogative, if don't want to be my friend then fine, but understand this I do not write this to seek you approval or forgiveness only to appease my own conciseness and nothing more and so I can become the person I was before.........
