ok, i can't sleep so i'm gonna try to help this guy find his sarah. i found three famous filipina sarah's in fairly recent history. here's my contribution:

1. sarah jane salazar - hiv/aids positive patient who became well known because she went public with her condition while pregnant. had a 16 year old boyfriend and got pregnant again when everyone already knew she had the virus. status: dead, dunno what happened to the kids and the boyfriend though.

2. sarah balabagan - then 14 year old girl who lied about her age to work as a maid in saudi, or was it the uae? her employer tried to rape her and she killed him in self defense. was sentenced to death by firing squad but due to international outcry her punishment was reduced to 100 lashes and she walked free. heard she converted from islam to christianity. status: probably still alive somewhere

3. sarah geronimo - popular singer/actress. very talented girl. nothing interesting though. status: very much alive
