it has the same internal memory compare to N900

It does not have card slot but N900 has.

If I were you, il just wait for the nokia X6... it will be available after a week or two...

Go for N97 mini or N900 or sony ericsson satio .... MIni's build quality is better than n97 also its much faster than it. also n900 is better than both of them.

But i read reviews about n97 its not good gives problems after sometime. i am nt sony erricson fan but rather go for sony ericson satio same price better quality phoen with 12 MP camera full touch screen....

Well u can see from the classified's section how many people are selling n97 that they dont want it. But another thing, many are selling n86 too. Dont intend to hijack this thread but how bout you people pour in views about n86 too!

i would prefer sony ericsson cybershot or walkman series or nokia n86, n95, n96

if you want NOKIA go for E72 or N900

Nokia N97 uses the same Sybian S60 system that Nokia developed years ago. It is an old system and not very effective for new applications competing from other systems.

It will probably be one of the last hits Nokia will produce for smart phones using this system.

Nokia now have introduced their new operating system "Maemo" in their new product "Nokia N900". We still have to wait to see results... but not very promising until now!

Windows Mobile & I-Phone are the best systems out there now...!

For the same price range, a new and modern HTC model (or other Windows Mobile based PDA) is way better!

With Windows Mobile applications, you can have so much fun and use your phone as a mini-computer (Pocket PC).

Yea, I have the latest Version 2, and it still has problems. And trust me, their kinetic scroll is laggy.

N900 is a good option. Powerful too! Google Nexus One or HTC Touch HD2 or Xperia X10!

N97? Dont think so :)

I think N800 is a much better choice... with the price being almost the same.

N97...have a problem with password protected wLan...you cant get in even with a password....but it connects to an open WLan network...strange!

Well thats the only problem.

A Phone should have a decent

1. 5MP camera with Flash

2. GPS.

3. Video Recording

Very few phones fall in this bracket.

I rate Samsung Omnia the best although it is said to be a little brittle when it falls.

To Saurabh7: Are you talking about having the latest firmware ver 2.x.x.x something from their website. As in even after installing that its suffering from problems?

one of my friend bought it and wants to sell it as he thinks that the phone is too complicated to use and boring better meet someone personally who has or had n97 will tell u how the phone is

I dont think its worth the price. But then, Im a heavy User of the N97. I guess in the same price range , you can try a better phone.

The phone has a habit of crashing and I m on the latest firmware. Its always running out of free RAM and phone memory.

But if you dont have to do much with it,just basic stuff. Get it! Made my texting a fun experience! :)

So share with us what have u heard / experienced about N97. Maybe we can confirm or acknowledge it too!
