NO Street Lights in some areas in Doha?

I wonder, Why NO Street Lights are there in some area in Doha, In Bin Mahmoud, Muntazah...may be some more tooo..
Any specific reason???

I have stayed in AL SAAD area behind FOOD PALACE for 4yrs..And all of u all won't believe that still therez no street lights..

UPDATE-

Yesterday evening, I walked in muntazah and found that some parts have street lights and some not.

I notice (It seems) NO one walks here, all around Big cars flashing lights (thank God they dont honk) and scaring strollers...:)-:)-

many accidents happened at Industrial areas Last year due to huge dug outs without proper alert sign boards and lights.

Ashgal is busy in road broadening process and to complete the underpass at Amer Cinema D Ring road

The Highways and the Main Roads are Over-Lit so I guess they are compensating.

Theres none between Al Khor - Ras Lafan exit and Fish R/A. Even more dangerous at night.

some parts of industrial area have no street lights and the roads are also full of pot holes....who cares !!

Irrespective of Areas...Nobody is even aware of whether it is really a basic need? which authority is responsible to take care of....

I may not be having right to say so, but street lights are basic needs, and I think municipality people must look into this.

It's unsafe too.
