I know a place called Hyatt Plaza...they have lots of small restaurants there from Chinese, Indian to Lebanese. I am sure you would like that place. I am also discovering new restaurants around here with my colleagues & yup TGIF in Villagio totally rocks.

Read reviews and try some according to what you prefer.

If you want something different, try Indian restaurants. :-)

if you dig japanese food, Sushiminto near Ramada signal offers good sushi... set aside at least QR100 per head...

Movenpick in Corniche Road offers buffet at around QR125 per head... nice place...

Anyways, if U like Italian, I can recommend a very nice authentic Italian Restaurant, with nice ambiance, good food (no alcohol served) and not very expensive as well.

U know Maggi, a DOHA DINING GUIDE is available on Book Stores. If you are so much a restauranteur, go & buy one. Its not expensive even. I thin, it costs QR. 15 only.
