I have one question, i took a rent a car around 8 months ago but i didnt give any cheque, only sign a rent a car agreement, after taking car i face very bad time and i didnt pay anything except 1800QR. Also got a accident and now i am in a very bad situation. I dont have money to pay accident repair charges and even i should pay penalties for speeding. I talk with him that i can only pay in installment but he refuse and last week he complain in Capital Police. I went there and they put me in Jail, next day they took me to the public prosecution and there they just allow me one week to pay the amount. Now my question that today complete the week and i dont have money to pay so can anyone tell me that what they will take next step against me. i dont want to go again this HELL (JAIL) and i really want to pay but i only pay in installment. what can i do????

who will loan you an amount and accept that you can pay in installment! If you can't find someone, then the possible scenario is for you to go back to jail and plead with the authorities. You need a lot of luck now!

as i told you before that i had a very bad time, i have problems with my sponsor and that's the reason i dont have money now. i cant disclose anything here and i cant apply for a loan as well even i didnt ask money from any one. i just like to know that what next step they can take against me. i am ready to pay but only in installments. i know my mistake. i know i am wrong but now i want to get off from this big trouble and i request that give me just a advice please.

DJ just speak to your sponsor, get a bank loan, pay the rental company and then pay back the bank in instalments. That's the easiest way out.

You need to somehow convince them that you WILL pay them in installment. If you are working then introduce the rentcar guy to your company HR. Let your HR say that you have a secure job and sign the salary transfer instructions in front of the rentcar guy where you instruct the company to transfer a part of your salary to rentcar's account every month. The rentcar guy would provide you the account details.

Dracula you soooo supportive!! The guy needs help and advice, not a criticism or threat with jail and deportation, surely he knows his mistakes.....

If it was me and I had trusted you with a car, I wouldnt take your word after not paying for that long either. Either way it should be insured, unless the owner of the rental company cancelled his policy due to your outstanding debt and recorded deviant driving style, or, you wrecked into an inanimate object and f##ked something worth more then the car up and didnt want to be responsible for it.

Regardless, it sounds like you need a loan, which i certainly trust you to pay back... and I want you to share the details of your 'big mistake/bad time'.

Dont listen to Blood though, jail is just a waste of time and doesnt teach you anything other then not to like being in jail, which is general knowledge already.

It's not fun time, when someone asking for a desperate advice (not help). Predominantly, he knows what his mistake is and he is tip of needle. If we are unable to give a solution, be numb, rather beating around the bush.

Your a stupid idiot. You didnt pay for the past 8 months, totaled the vehicle and have speeding tickets. I don't get how he will not be pissed of. I think you will be deported but Inshallah, you will have more choices. I think you are a total idiot for renting this vehicle. You sholud rent from a Popular Rental Dealer, like Thrifty or Budget and I heard that you will have to pay 1000QR and your down with it.

I have a Nissan Armada 4x4 that I got for a special promotion for 3500QR. I have to pay 3000QR if I have an accident. So everyone has to pay something if you have an accident. Just like @whyteknight said, try to get a loan for the asking price, then pay that in installments. Tryd to help out... :(

is that car not fully or partially insured, then why you need to pay for the damage?

most of cars on rent are fully insured nowadays.

you davidz and other. guys, as i told you that the time i took car i was in a very good condition but later everything changed, i speak to him and i admit that i did a big mistake but he never listen to me, i told him that i can pay in installment even i take money with him but he refuse. now i just need to know that what court will take action against me? i am ready to pay but only in installments but other party never agree on this.

Try to negotiate for a post dated check if possible so that you can pay by installment. Good Luck...

Due to some unavoidable circumstances we feel sympathy on your situation, but on the other hand you seem a little bit careless...involvment in accident could be from the other side but you have over speeding charges as well...plz have mercy on yourself!

Talk to your rent a car personnel in a nice way. Tell them that you don't have any intention of not paying, promise them that you will pay on a particular date. If you could bring a friend to guarantee you much better. God bless!

First of all you have to admit that you have done a mistake and actually a big one, second if you want to learn from this mistake you have to accept the consequences of your action else wise you will be repeating the same, then the solution of this problem will be as follows you will have to go to jail and serve sometime there then the court will take you out but you have to have an attorney to that case you will have to provide evidence that your in a deep sh**y situation, which will make the judge think how to divide the amount for you, but I still recommend that you serve sometime in jail for the irresponsibility actions you have done, you should have surrendered the car at least after two months and not more. anyways good luck and take a lesson from this one for next time.

Do I have this right - you took a rental car 8 months ago, have paid nothing (except 1800 QR), have speeding tickets and an incapacitating (to the car) accident and you wonder why the rental agent is angry with you? What would make him think you would pay in installments this time if you haven't paid previously? I seriously doubt your credit or your word is worth much by this time.

8 months and he only paid 1800 riyals, so when u cant afford to pay for the repair then how will he pay when he wants to return the car and pay for the 8 months or how much months he rented it for?

You can try to get a personal loan from a bank and pay them back in instalments, that's what my friend did when he smashed up a rent a car and had to pay the actual cost of the car to the rent a car company.
