Hey i'm 27 and moving over to Dukhan next week. I'm getting a little nervous that it's going to be fairly boring and I may have made a poor decision. im a city girl from glasgow and also lived in cairo so im worried the "village life" wont suit me?

is it hard to meet people? i'm getting cold feet! x

Yes, you have made a bad decision unless you can adapt yourself to a very peaceful and laid back life. If you are interested in sailing, you could join the sailing club. Your interest in sports would help you to refresh you in the club after work in the evenings.

I'm living in Dukhan. I think your coming as a teacher to Dukhan English School. Its only an hour far from Doha.

We have a souq with a Super market, McDonalds, QIB Bank, Doha Bank, Saloon, Fitness Center, Swimming pools, Qtel shop, Restaurants, Money exchange, pharmacy, Beautiful Beach with dedicated club house for QP employees and many more.

Dont worry. You will find helpful people around you here in Dukhan. Welcome.

No worry.. You still can enjoy mc donald there and small supermarket. 6 lanes highway to doha approx 100kms away with F1 in heart driver driving their 4wd.

Carefull for road accident and no hotel or starbuck or carefour there.

Just buy some games, listen to music, video chat with friends and it totally good place if you can compare with planet pluto.
