Shima, I feel sorry for you, Japanese cars are boring and if you like to drive Cars you don't buy japanese(there are some exceptions of course). A lot of people here got the strange idea that buying anything else than Toyota and Nissan is to waste money. Buying someting else might give you a lot of pleasures that you will never find in a Mass produced Japanese Car
the latest mini cooper supercharged is around QR140-150k, cute car and nice to drive , everything hunky dory while there is warranty as the parts are soo expensive thanks to al fardan(imagine battery QR1K and alternator QR4500) so if ya got the money to 'waste' on this lil toy then go for it otherwise get another make that is low in maintenance and parts.
life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......
well.... to tell u the truth, honda is not bad, but if u're looking for luxury, or an enjoyable ride, then its the european and american cars.. they really know how to satisfy the driver...
You get what you pay for. Toyota and Nissan sell better secondhand. I don't really know why: they are crap and instantly forgettable. With relatively good salaries, no tax and practically free petrol, Qatar's possibly the best place in the world to buy a car that makes others envious. Buy it a year old with a dealer warranty in place, and the seller will have absorbed the car's drop in value from new.
Alfardan is the agent for BMW / Mini Cooper, but take a look on the Cars section here. I saw that an expat is selling one for a song right now. They come up quite often on these second hand pages and others.
Nothing like a Mini with dashing two tone stripes to stand out from the ocean of dull white Toyotas in Doha!
