hey friends...i would like to mention is apart from teaching guitar...i can also teach bass guitar as the two are entirely different..all the major picking techniques..slap and pop...tapping and playing relli fast songs without the pick.....so if anyone is interested in the bass guitar also they are welcome.........my dream is to become a big live electro performer for which i need a lot of equipment as midi controllers and softwares and sample pad machines......and the only way i can achive this is through hardwork and teaching guitar...so plz help me out 2 become one the biggest performers in the gulf..spread the word among ur friends..and ask them if they are interested....i will charge less for groups..1000 for a person..1400 for 2 ppl..and so on....in no time u will be running across the neck of the guitar and playing famous songs of bands like iron maiden..metallica..lamb of god...linkin park...devildriver...and so any other famous rock bands as red hot chilli peppers...staind nickelback.....u never kno....u might just hav the biggest band in doha...or maybe even the world.....my bands name is 'METALECKTRO'...and v are the first of its kind in doha.. my stage name is MR. I don't mind saying that my tastes are narrow minded. you won't find me listening to The Music and then painting my face with make-up.

I like anthemic stadium rock, lets book the aspire stadium for gigs....

Opened itunes and here are some of my faves aside from the ones i mentioned.... the bluetones, starsailor, barenaked ladies, The Stone Roses, Embrace, Bruce Springsteen, Doves, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Manic Street Preachers, Travis, Stereophonics....

At last someone with no metal obsession. I used to play drums in my hometown. We covered The Cure, The Smiths, Plimsouls, Buzzcocks, Radiohead, etc... I love The Jam, U2, The Who, Oasis, Blur, etc... etc... the list could be very long, but I would like to avoid playing metal and I found it difficult in this country. Could you tell me more about your tastes?

im a well known guitar player in qatars underground metal music scene & also known for my music among the teenage crowd in doha.I speciaise in playing the acoustic,bass and electric guitars.mostly heavy metal.classic old skool and basic rock.i also play a bit of spanish guitar.i am interested in giving classes in guitar techniques and basic music theory for QR 1000 per month.i will not charge per hour.and i can teach at the learners house..if the learner requests for extra classes i will not be charing any extra fees.and we will start from basic music theory..to guitar parts..chords...different chord progressions.....scales.....finger techniques.....learn the famous songs etc.....and as the learner gets more skilled i will move on to the advanced level....i will also give classes as how the electric guitars and the bass guitars are played and how to train urself to play and sing together...

classes will begin once i get any interested student and i am ready to teach at the students house..the student is required to have an instrument of their own...i can give a good suggestion when buying the instrument....three classes per week...further changes might occur once i get any more interested students...looking forward to hear from you guys...thank you

Wow...all of a sudden there are people talking about Rock, Metal etc. Geez...didnt know there were so many rockers and metal heads here in Qatar..

I mostly play classics and appreciate self composed music...I play rythm guitar, and i'm a double beat drummer. (must confess, guitarist first though) as you can imagine..I do listen to a lot of the "heavier side" of metal/rock and used to teach as well. BUT as you cannot imagine, I play a lot of Led Zep, CCR, ZZ top too and also love Smokie etc too!

I would love to imagine a time when rockers, musicians, bands etc. in doha just meet up and play set after set... WOW!
