let's start counting our blessings (:

Dear fellow Ql bro's and sis's As human beings and Expats in Qatar, we have got everything to be thankful for.
We need to stop the negative vibes and learn the resentful negative feelings and just be hopeful and happy for what we have.
Too often we take our lives for granted. We are always thinking about what we want from this life, but rarely take enough time to ponder, contemplate on, and just appreciate what we already have.

Trust me, there are dire and unbearably painful consequences, if we can't find it in our souls to be thankful for the lives we have.

Being resentful and ungrateful all the time, really leads to some very complex mental, as well as health issues of depression, workaholic habits, stress, insomnia and neuroticism.

So my resolution tonight is that I'm going to block out all the negative vibes I read here on QL or, hear/see in real life.
I'm going to take more time to be thankful for what I have, I'm going try to say/do positive things and stay positive all the time and just have a happy attitude towards my life,
And enjoy the life that God gifted me because I faking deserve it (:

now yall have a very good night.

Oh and please before you go to sleep tonight, watch this vid from youtube, It really got me thinking why the hell we shouldn't celebrate the good things in our lives, count our blessings and just be happy with life. (:

I'd like to take this opurtunity to apologize..I was in a bad mood last night when I posted my unfortunate and regrettable comments, the Los Angeles Lakers were takin it to my Denver Nuggets and earlier my Chicago Bulls were taken to the woodshed by the Sixers. Both my teams are being eliminated from the playoffs and I was frustrated and took my anger out on Little Nando.

Of course it never hurts to remind people to count their blessings. I'll count mine in a second

Why? If you are not afraid ,do the best you can, and expect only the best, than nothing bad will happen to you.

Most probably you will have made a friend for life all the way into the hereafter! Very useful!

No Rizks, we should not. Fear makes us react in the wrong way, maybe even putting ourselves in danger.

Think about it rationally, and react properly.Like this: you say....hey, I;m sorry, you lost your head somewhere? Let's go and look for it together...I have eyes, you don't...:P

By Rizks• 2 May 2012 13:45

how about if u visit some haunted house and you find someone standing in front of you who is all white but without a head, should we be in fear ? :(

By nomerci• 2 May 2012 13:40

Good one. I am grateful for so many things every day. I have come a loooong way, and I am proud of it.

One word of advise though...do not, EVER, be fearful of anything...fear is humankind's biggest enemy.

Whenever fear, doubt or worry raise their ugly heads in your mind, chase them away...they are useless.

Gave me chills when I heard Tink & Fatimah. My biggest fear right now would be something happening to my son.

MN, here's a link that made me cry and goes with your theme today:

I feel ya..I often say I would appreciate having just one child until the day I die rather than having more and then having to endure the pain of losing even one. No loving parent ever wants to live to bury their child =(

Mannapro, in todays fast moving life, we forget wat we are blessed with and also tend to forget thanking the ONE who has blessed us with such wonderful things in our life.

MN said that coz, many knew this but its always good to remind and he has just reminded us for which atleast 'I' should thank him for and its always good to thank the One Almighty God for wat he has blessed us with ?

Marco, a little friendy advice

Shouldn't you get a little more life experience before you start preaching to people who've been around the world, worked entire careers and raised families? I mean who do you think you are anyway?

You act like youre telling us something we didn't think about 20 years before you were born- Yeah, yeah, yeah count my blessings- I remember my kindergarden teacher telling me that in 1965
