AN ITALIAN man has reportedly beaten his mother to death in the bathroom of their house during a furious row sparked by her refusal to bring him a glass of water.

According to local media, 29-year-old Ciro Ciccarelli had struggled for years with a drug habit and had a tempestuous relationship with his mother.

They say he was found in an agitated state in the house near Naples, with scratches all over his face.

Ciccarelli has been arrested for the murder after allegedly admitting he fatally beat his mother in a fit of rage.

P.S. I am really sorry for bring up all these news but this week has a whole lot of similar crimes...

Out of his mind as a result of that and hence was a danger to society as a whole. Thankfully he is now off the streets, but sadly it was the woman who bore him and gave birth to him who had to pay the ultimate price.

Once dated a Greecian... Dumped him because he insist mousakka and baklava were Greek foods. Last I heard, he's back with his mother.

Hope he won't appear on a Greek's news for killing his own mother.

He is a drug addict, therefore not in his right mind.

I believe there are more good people than criminals. But the media wants to sell...so they almost ONLY talk about the bad things that happen.

Just read the Gulf Times...every page is full of disaster...EVERY page !

I am sure there are a lot of wonderful things happening in Qatar ( I am not talking about companies and their profile , but about HUMANS doing good without seeking the lime light )...but the media thinks they don't sell...so they do not even make the effort to research....

This man in Italy is a drug addict, so what do they expect? That he is a model citizen ?????

Bloody women these days, they have become too lazy. My last Pakistani girlfriend was too lazy to cook and then bring my byriani over to me. I had to go to the kitchen myself and even get my own beer from the fridge.

For numerous millenniums we lived a man

For more millennium we will live a man

This will go on and crime will never decrease

It is increased and silently running in our blood in ways of our interest

It is because of that drugs he was taking !!!

Poor mom, it is pity to die for a silly reason and from someone supposed to be part from you, Your Son.

Well...I wouldn't call anywhere where Rizks lives to be "safe" but he's an anomaly and shouldn't be included in world wide stats ;)

AHA!

"when in reality crimes rates continue to decrease world wide"

Proof if it were needed that Qatar is safer now than when Rizks was born.

Humanity likes to read about death and murder. So anytime it happens it makes it into the news and good news is ignored. The media focus on negative stories makes it seem like society has become more violent, when in reality crimes rates continue to decrease world wide and things like this are actually not as common as they once were.
