No I am not asking you for a job but tell me ,what and how do u hire ?
I am a data analyst, yah I am one,or some say business analyst, whatever you name it.Document controlling,Oracle forms developing, reports analysing and vast number of technical administrative skills.I just want to know how much this kind of profile sells.ERP systems are my another area of expertise.
I am smart, hardworking, qualified and experienced. No exxageration and not an ounce of modesty either. This is totally me.Why is it that my 1 and a half year of application to jobs in qatr hasnt paid off?
I have a driving license,an IELTS score of 8.5,totally affable, and good to work with.
So answers anyone?

it's not about who you have around, it's about whether or not the hiring company has an "indian-female-software developer" quota, which is mostly like not.

your Resume might be unattractive. and again, what's your nationality? some nationalities are very hard in terms of getting quota. Combination with your gender it might make it next to impossible.

Tinkerbell,I read and write arabic quite well,as to speaking I would rate myself as a beginner. To top it off ,I am taking arabic classes at fanar.Yes,administration sounds good.

Oliver,I agree the experience is next to nothing given the competition and all that, and one more thing ,not 1 its 2 years of experience .And yah I have a kid ,but I have put myself out there for a job, after I have done my homework to ensure that he is doing good enough not to bother my job.Not yet ,dont get into the personality appearance and all that, because I have never been shortlisted for an interview after I came to Doha.I am told that maybe my resume wasnt viewed at all ,in the first place and that I need someone to place it on top of the heap.If still not getting through I understand it all comes down to what you pointed out the appearance and all that.

1 year experience?no its more than 2.1 year as a technical administrator and then as a data analyst.I agree, the exp is next nothing given the competition and all that, and the worst part is,before getting into the appearance part ,I havent been shortlisted for an interview after I came to Doha.I have been told ,job portals aint going to work ,I need to have someone to put my resume on top of the heap.Is this true?

your experience is next to nothing (you cannot really consider 1 year as an experience); you are female, while your type of job is more suitable for men, and competition is extremely high in this field; you have a little kid, so your steady attendance at work is in question. That's in case you even don't get any invitations for the interview.

If you still do get the interviews and later aren't selected, it has to do something with your appearance, personality and presenting yourself.

yeah.. and your nationality.. maybe the Company simply doesn;t have a quota for your nationality, unless you are under your husband's sponsorship, then not all the companies like to hire the employees on family visas, as it's a headache to get a work permit for them..

based on your posting if I'm the one so called "hirers" I will not hire you. Why? You said that 'IELTS score of 8.5' and check your posting.

And you got an "I" syndrome.

That's one of the things that switches off interviewers...my opinion.
