When I recall important things happened / happening in 2009, considering my areas of interests following would be my list.
1.Obama, First Afro-American President.
2.MJ passed away.
3.AR Rahman got Oscars.
4.H1N1 outbreak.
5.Financial recession and Dubai’s official declaration.
6.Sri Lankan civil war over.
7.Bahrain ends sponsorship law.
8.Israel military aggression on Gaza (2009).
9.TATA launched world’s cheapest car.
10.Racial attacks in Australia.
11.North and South Korean issues.
12.Launch of bid – Qatar 2022.
13.Ahmadinejad reelected as Iranian president.
14.Pepsi changed its logo.
