It is not a Debate. It is purely to Express Your Perceptions.
Think and explain based on your personal life experience and own reasoning.

Are men and women created simimlarly?

Would a normal woman and a normal man look the same if they stand next to each other naked for scientific purposes?

if we open our mind and not be judgmental, gender equality is possible

    By Sulieman• 2 Sep 2013 17:01
    Sulieman

It can't be possible, Cause for instance we (ourselves) deal differently with the opposite sex (whether better or worse it is not the point)

For example: Women will do much better in Marketing then men, as the most of the bosses are men, and they will have better attention.

But after all as the most of the QLers said

The both deserve to be respected and treated good, and it is all about the individuals.

Possible or not, true or not, people will never agree.

BUT, i think we can all agree to treat each other with respect and kindness and fairness.

but social and day to day work probably yes.

In my perciption a natural woman will always need a man to be with her.

A: Why man and woman are created differently?

B: Ofcourse to do the same roles.

    A: Are you serious?!!

B: Hey man do not think I foll and stupid, both are different and when it comes to gender equality ofcourse they will not be the same, but when it comes to social equality or roles then yes both might be the same but there are some men who are superior to women in the social roles and vice versa.

Tinker, You are right. You are representing one kind of Women. :)

I know women for whom a dominant man would feel like a bully. These women seek men who are almost as soft as they are. I also know women who avoid dominant men for political reasons in spite of themselves, but that's another story. One friend of mine and her man have told me that they love each other because they are both “soft and giving”.

But there are women who want to be lead by Men.

What do you think about this? ( Attn Men and WOmen in QL)

If there is one thing that turns women off more than anything else, it's a man with a lack of dominance. And an attractive woman can smell a lack of dominance like a shark smells blood.

No one is attracted to someone who conveys a sense of being powerless. When it comes to being a man, however, power is not only important, it's everything. ... A woman is never attracted to a man who seems to be “equal” with her. In some major way, he has to be more than her. ... To feel feminine, she must be with a man who is masculine. When a woman is with a guy who is not dominant, she feels like he is just another girl.

    So let’s just say that

Women are not equal to men in the following filed:

    Strength/intelligence/ flexibility/ personality.

Women are equal to men in the following fields:

    Humanity/ worth/ rights/ opportunity.

You didn't read what I said either..

Having been in the armed forces, it is clear that men and women can do most of the same jobs..

However, for special forces, it has been shown that men are physically better suited.

lastly, it has also been proven that psychologically, the "public" at large find it harder to accept / come to terms with the loss of a female soldier than a male.

So perhaps the answer is that in some cases , it is preferable not to have gender equality.

Sorry, but the differences are there..

Are males and females equal on intellectually ?

    The answer is Yes!

Are males and females equal physically ?

The answer for the majority is no (My Cuban Shotputter being the exception to the rule)

Can men and women do the same job equally well.

In the majority of cases - yes.

Should they be allowed to do the same job ?

In some cases - No. (I refer here to the armed forces and front line in particular)

We could agree on the principle of men being able to have babies if they had a womb ..

Gays would be considered as a pair or group of men.

Lesbians would be considered as a pair or group of women.

Bigenders would be considered as a group of men & women.

So as a whole, the topic is about Men and Women.
