Hi,

are there any fortunetellers or palm readers here? In all of the places there normally at least one old lady...with the vision able to fortell the future

but here seldom to find one.. don't rely on this fortuneteller and all... no one can predict our future.. Have Faith, instead.

is it true that Islam forbid it? Or, I think it's just human's mis-interpret the Guran. If you can go to a doctor for a problem then Y not a person who can diagnose it in another way and solve it by other method?

I saw a controlled experiment once..

They selected ten random people and sent them individualy to a fortune teller.. The fortune teller told each one the same thing...

When they came out and were interviewed.. Each felt that he had been told the truth about himself/herself..

I did not see any in Saudi Arabia... In many countries they are with the travelling circus or fun fare..

Personaly, I don't believe in them, but I have some Indian friends who swear by palm Readers... So, there must be one in Qatar..

you seem to be worried of your future. You are only 29,yet some people at the age of 50 still doesn't know what their future holds.Relax, there's more to life than pondering your thoughts of what future holds ahead of you.Your actions today determine your tomorrow. Live a good & respective life, then who knows? Some beautiful angel around there might notice you and voila!

But, this is just my opinion:)

What you are asking about is the future. But the examples you gave are the past. The past is written in your hand. The lines in your hand will tell a lot about your past. This is not future.

I believe no one in his right mind could believe in this, ...untill you meet someone that you never saw before and still this person is able to tell you the color of your room, how many rooms in your old house, the color of your ex girlfriend hair etc...

This is a gift( curse?) and they use cards or numbers just to put some logic in it and not to scare you, but actuaaly they could just look at you and still be able to read directly in your mind

Hard to believe i know, thats why you cannot try to convice people , its something you need to experience by yourself.

But i still believe no one should know his futur as it come at a cost for your sanity

I used to think it was a bunch of BS, till a fortune teller acquaintance of a friend of mine told me things abt myself that even my close friends donno...She told me things that I myself had almost forgotten....n it was weird...it jus blew me!!

even with probability and numbers n all that explanation, it still beats me how they can do that!!

Only thing I can come up is that the realm of the human mind is a real spooky, unventured territory.

The present is more important than the future so we should all worry about the present because only the actions we take in the present can give birth to consequences in the future..........................fortune telling?......well...it is not very important because there is a chain of activity that will determine a certain end, so if for instance you hear about your future it would not necessarily happen that way if you change your present condition or actions.......

Well, it is absolutely the same attitude to future telling in Christianity. But still people use the skills of those people and...we are all sinfull...yes, I want to know my future. I am 29 and still not married and if there is nothing ahead of me , I'd better come down about it and devote my further life to career and stop worring about my private life....

I was waiting for someone else to answer. Nobody did, so here I go and tell you why you will not see them. It is against Islam. Eveything is in the hands of God, and trying to find out what your future is going to be like is haram. By the way, who would know anyway about your future but God?

Sometimes it's a man! it's a skill that is well shared , but for some reasons mens does not seems to go public about it or to make a living out of it, but no not to my knowledge, its seems its more about knowing someone that knows someone etc....But do you really want to know your futur ? think about that before ;

Don't wait for the last judgment it takes place every day.
