I just wanted to say for me as a Qatari i was proud of the whole show last night as an event , organising , type of audience and at last but not least the Qatari comedians who rocked the house !

What about you peeps who went to the show ? Did you enjoy ? apart from the cheap orange juice they sell .

Well done everyone .

Yes Hamad been called a Terrorist and threatening someone of deportation in my opinion are two different thinks.

I even had one young Qatari threating to report me to the Police when I corrected him on his bad driving in Villagio car Park.

Another incident was when I tried to stop a local going in the wrong directions in his LC, who only told me that it was his country and he could do whatever he likes.

So my friend there is nothing better or worse it is how one perceive the threat!

In Saudi , the first thing a local would say to you is " Jib .. Iqama" .... so the culture is pretty similar :O)

You got it britexapt . That is what i had in mind .. he came up with his own jokes which requires an amount of effort with the combination of confidence .

I agree with you about the visa cancellation thing . Still works though :p

Excellent..

He's young and will develop his own style..

Most comedy is self depreciating and he was right about the "cancel your visa" threat :O)

I've seen Ahmed Ahmed on several of the comedy tours and I think he totally sucks. That link of him giving advice to Mohammed just shows it. Ahmed Ahmed should be GETTING advice from him. Cheers to Mohammed :)

I haven’t been to the comedy show last night. But I did saw two acts by Mohammed Fahad Kamal in both TEDXDOHA and a Tweet up gathering, And I thought he was brilliant & very confident speaker

Well done, Mohammed
