EID DECLARATION- QTEL SMS
IT in Qatar is quite good.It was indeed SAD that Fasting declaration was not known even to the imams..After Isha Prayers people were waiting either to pray Taraweeh or Not. Aljazeera declared that fasting ud commence the next day and so taraweeh prayers started.
To avoid such confusions for EID i would suggest as sooon as AWQHAF declares the moonsighting of Shawwal... qtel to send a SMS regarding the declaration to all its customers and no chaos....

The moon sighting commitee organize a meeting as soon they have a person who should give a SHAHAADAH or a testimonial that he/she has indeed spotted the Shawwal cresent.It is then announced to the General Public.It takes time.
