people should realise the tricks of some political parties in handling this issue.i hope secular indians aware that why this issue is long pending.

But sure they dig ground to bury themselves by instigating violence between communities

Destruction only showcases human behaviour at its worst. Hopefully what happened will not be repeated. The only way for people to avoid such unnecessary events & loss of life would be by not letting these d*** politicians manipulate us.

Mr M.

Many great Muslim kings like Haider ali, Tipu Sultan have built india, fought against the european empires, and then unfortunately,Muslims were treated in this horrible way, especially after the masjid demolition, many Muslims were killed and their properties destroyed, indeed that was a black day for all Muslims worldwide.

what do u mean by black day.. I do agree it an unfortunate incident that shouldnt have happened but now to commemorate is to instill deep rooted anger and hatered in us which was the primary objective of the miscreants.

last year there were couple of churches and priest were tourched in Bihar .. why is the day not commemorated as Black Day... its just because christans are minority and there would any momentum even it was propogated.. so let just forget and move on with our lives .. with love comes peace

The biggest shame on our Indian Democracy. Many top politicians from BJP were involved in that shameful act. At least they should have considered the historical value of the Mosque and left it alone. That was religious fanaticism at its worst. We are not the same type of people as they were 500 years ago. Maybe they were not as civilized as we are now, but by that act our politicians proved that they were a bunch of Barbarians. I still do not know why the Congress govt at the centre did not do anything to prevent it. They should have sent the army and cowed down the miscreants. Something fishy in the whole matter though.

Though I should not step into religious matters being a Non-believer but that mosque paid more tribute to Babar than Allah. I mean he had the arrogance to name the praying place for Allah in his name so good it got demolished...

muslims out there, Allah had asked us to pray five times daily on time. Kindly do this & insah allah every mosque will be blessed & be protected by allah....as some one said the mosque was not being used ...its true so though its an political issue but i still blame my muslim brothers for not having used the mosque..

Nope Dot.com none of the muslims are insecure, I grew up in a Muslim neighbourhood so know about it firsthand. Only politicians want to get votes by making an issue out of it..

Ayodhya is the bith place of Lord Ram in Hindu texts so any monument of another religion there will hurt their feelings, most of my Muslim friends agree on that and say there should have never been a mosque there..

By anonymous• 4 Dec 2009 23:27

Dot.com a temple was destroyed to construct that mosque which was wrong, they destroyed the mosque to make way for the construction of a temple, even bigger wrong..

Buddha never destroyed anything, infact his teachings made a cruel king like Ashoka of Mauryan empire give up violence so violence against him is most disgusting.

if the civilized bastards forces stop killing innocent men, women and children on earth, else can be build up again either it is masjid, temple or statue.

PS: Demolishing a Masjid by hindus can be as disgusting as destrying a statue of buddha by taliban.
