It's different when your forced to spend on your daily needs and you go and spend on entertainments for your personnel enjoyment

choithram do they provide internet in mental health facilities these days? Cool.

As for Dubai & Qatar, yes rents are higher in Qatar right now but Dubai has too many places to spend money so you end up spending more in Dubai. My personal experience anyway.

yes i agree....i was raised up in qatar....now settled with husband nd kid in dubai.....had a recent visit to qtr .....parents r thr.....i agree qatr has become veryy costly to live....but doesnt they pay u according to cost of living..?....dubai hs cm down to a less expensive world.....we hv options for who work in dubai, they can stay either in ajman or sharjah....but in doha i think the option is limited.....mesaieed is nly meant for company residents....and wakrah a bit less thn doha cost....

my view......:)

Everybody have there own opinion about the cost of living here in qatar, we dont need to mis understand the others. We all leave with the level of salary we earn.. Lucky to those can spend more.. We all expatriates come here to earn not to leave looks like the locals who has too much to spend...

This is all demand and supply economics.Doha's expat population has doubled in 2 years due to construction boom while dubai has gone down after financial crisis hence naturally in dubai the rental has down since many expats had to leave the country.Naturally no owner in Doha will voluntarily reduce rents.the roads are also becoming jammed. In a years time it will be like sharjah,Dubai roads where it will take hours to reach office.

Obviously you've never lived in Dubai....the two are different in almost every way! Oh...and if you don't like being here....stop complaining and go home.Simple.

Why would an owner voluntarily reduce rents when he/she knows that people are willing to pay what is asked.

Yeah exactly and I for one am seriously thinking of moving back home where I will not have to put up with with all this inflated costs for evertything and not have to deal with higher ups and managers who have no clue about their work responsibilites but are so good at holding on to their chairs

Dubai is not expensive if you compare Qatar ....

You find in Qatar ....high rent rates ... No one Is taking any initiative to in reducing the rent here ...I think everybody has an understanding not to reduce the rent in any circumstances
