Hi guys,
Im about moving there soon, how does the club life look like there? Is there any actually, or just poshy clubs in hotels with crappy, mainstream music? Are there nice places to go out in the evening? Would be grateful for any info:)
Monika
yup-))) anyway im 50% of polish blood-) lol anyway - u can count on me when u will arrive. first time it will be a bit difficult but after u will see - u will be fine here. i dont wanna go from there to work into any other country. just be flexible, relaxed here and try to find ur own way to happiness. and if u will need my help in this - im here for u. good luck! greetings to Poland! (my native city just few km from Poland );)
Impressive Nataliya ,lovely and solid comments by you ! And yes monika, you will get good and interesting friends, who will like to share good time and get socialized, adventurers, hobbiests and sport fans and many.Good luck.
depends what u care more about. if u care place more than ppl - u will be frustrated..if u care ppl more than place - u will be happy in any club in doha coz u r able to find nice funny and interesting friends here.
Doha is not a fun place. A lot of areas are still under developed with vast expanses of wasteland. There is little scope to have fun and party and you have definately chosen the wrong place if that is your intention. You have to remember you are coming to a muslim country and there will be consequences for your conduct if it is deemed inappropriate. However, if your intention is to make money then that is still possible.
I dont think , you'll be having a good time ,here !! Coming from singapore, i still find it very difficult to adapt to the culture and mindset of people here.
Saxon 1, whats wrong with you people!!!! its the Middle East!!! not known for its Clubbing scene, like I have already said, go to Europe if its a social scene you want, come to Qatar to earn tax free money!! if oil money offends you go somewhere else!
Monika, its the Middle East, its an Islamic based society, get a job in London or Paris, visiting the Hotels all the time will cost you a fortune, this place is not Europe!! don't listen to people who are on 20000QRs a month after all costs!
Wellcome Monika to qatar. This is country where you can really live a great life. about clubbing yes there are many place where you can hear good music outing and being friends....
It will take a couple of years before there are any decent places to drink. The few available are overcrowded, smoke filled and drinks overpriced...moreover the guy to female ratio is 8:2....after some time out here you"ll only enjoy house/home parties....
are you kidding me guys ! if someone says clubbing in Qatar is a good option for youngsters then s/he has no freaking idea about club or never been to a real club i would say.
Yea, I have NO IDEA about living there, thats why I am asking, posts on forum are ofter different and contradict each other, that is why Im asking ! I am relaly into going out and entertainment and dont want to end up in the place where the only fun is to sit at home in the evenings !
[email protected] wer do u think you are coming.... looks like you are thoroughly misinformed or really day dreaming!! nice places to go in the evening?? that wud be your home...
thanks for all answers !! Any places with electronic music ( especially dnb, dubstep, trip-hop) u may know? What are prices of drinks there ? ( in euro pleaaaase:)

Monika, what you are used to from Poland you will most definately NOT find here. People come here to make money, not to party.
There are some clubs in the hotels, mainstream, to put it politely...still in no way to be compared to Europe.
And if you like to party a lot, you better have a really good salary.
