depends what u care more about. if u care place more than ppl - u will be frustrated..if u care ppl more than place - u will be happy in any club in doha coz u r able to find nice funny and interesting friends here.

Doha is not a fun place. A lot of areas are still under developed with vast expanses of wasteland. There is little scope to have fun and party and you have definately chosen the wrong place if that is your intention. You have to remember you are coming to a muslim country and there will be consequences for your conduct if it is deemed inappropriate. However, if your intention is to make money then that is still possible.

Monika, what you are used to from Poland you will most definately NOT find here. People come here to make money, not to party.

There are some clubs in the hotels, mainstream, to put it politely...still in no way to be compared to Europe.

And if you like to party a lot, you better have a really good salary.

I dont think , you'll be having a good time ,here !! Coming from singapore, i still find it very difficult to adapt to the culture and mindset of people here.

Saxon 1, whats wrong with you people!!!! its the Middle East!!! not known for its Clubbing scene, like I have already said, go to Europe if its a social scene you want, come to Qatar to earn tax free money!! if oil money offends you go somewhere else!

By Steve1• 21 May 2011 20:23

Monika, its the Middle East, its an Islamic based society, get a job in London or Paris, visiting the Hotels all the time will cost you a fortune, this place is not Europe!! don't listen to people who are on 20000QRs a month after all costs!

It will take a couple of years before there are any decent places to drink. The few available are overcrowded, smoke filled and drinks overpriced...moreover the guy to female ratio is 8:2....after some time out here you"ll only enjoy house/home parties....

are you kidding me guys ! if someone says clubbing in Qatar is a good option for youngsters then s/he has no freaking idea about club or never been to a real club i would say.
