it happens all the time...get use to it.
tried to "seduce" her superior. No wonder she got the promotion!
yes, i had one colleague before who tried to seduce my superior and succeeded.. so after that she was promoted to a supervisor post tsk tsk tsk --- so i think this is one form of cheating also : D

cheating is cheating what ever the reason , and it is a very bad things to do,and what about he/she cheating too for the same reason then everybody will be cheating .

I don't know if anybody is cheating me to gain favours from my boss but I am still in office after entering the office at 7 AM so my boss isn't doing any favours to me for sure :(

In my opinion I would say office politics! Using one's influence and power to advance him/herself. This is very common in almost all workplace.
