MRINAWAS
By MRINAWAS

Hi all

During this Ramadan, some persons are begging in front of the car parking in super markets by a new method, but most of the way of introductions and informations are similar. please be aware of those peoples. Dont encourage beggers in any form.

First they came to you to sell some products, later on he will tell you, he is from Bahrain or Oman, he need some amount for return back, or need some amount for pay the room rent etc.... Dont beleive those words....

GIVE ZAKAT TO GENUINE PERSONS. BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLES REALLY WE MISS THE APPROPRIATE PERSON

Well if they do it for an easy way to get cash rather than seeking help from their respective embassy's, it could really be annoying.

We just need the proper channels to be able to make sure our help is given to those who really are in need and not to those who take advantage.

hmmm well even so, it all comes down to us. The way I see it, im not losing anything even if the begger mafia is stealing a little bit money from us, in the end God returns it in double. In my case i'd help the guy and call the cops to take care of him, the rest is between him and the govt. and Allah. God knows best.

it's a begger mafia.. you must have experienced same thing in UAE? this is a very strong ring working across GCC.there are some genuine needy individuals and families who don't beg, most of them are taken care by Qatar Charity/ Qatar Red Cerscent/ Eid Charity/ ROTA... etc..These registered charities have list of such poor and needy people living in Qatar who are being taken care by these charitable organizations. If anyone of you knows any genuine case who deserved to be helped, you can  guide them to any of the above Charity Organization.

Speed I do partially agree with you, but there are people everywhere that might be in need, if its forbidden then its our responsibility to report such people to the govt. why do they exist why isnt anything being done about them, instead of people coming here whining about how the lost 2 riyals from their pocket cuz some guy who was more in need of money then them, go and report them or call the police to handle it.

oh boo hoo so he asked u for a spare change that was lying in ur pocket. Big deal, u people should seriously grow out of this non sense. Who cares if he's a thief, if u have faith in god then give him without being stingy. It's not like 2 riyals gone from ur pocket will make u broke!

Try this nxt time when u encounter such ppl

Ask their cell no and insist them on giving their I'd no and company name and tell them u will be contacted by some1 tomorrow who is willing to help ppl in your situation

The next thing u will see him making excuses and running away

even by giving such facke beggers dh. 50, means we are supporting such criminal acts.We are living in a Country where begging in any form is forbidden. Therefore, we should abide by the laws. don't be rude with them, simply tell them 'Sorry' I cannot help you this time and once the begger walks away,  should call 999 immediately and inform the police about the begger and his location.Keep the City clean and safe.

Yea...a few days back from Lulu a man came to us and was iritating us to buy something from him and when we turned him down he cursed us telling if you don't buy it we will meet with an accident on the way home. Can you imagine! I used to hear these curses only from beggars from my home country.

they need to survive too. leave them be. they are not harming you. or did they?the largese of the arabs are well known that's why they have been doing this.and lets face it ur not feeding their families when their bellies rumble in hunger."sit not on ur high throne casting aspersions on those less fortunate than u r!"

Though you feel a little guilt looking at them, it's the feeling that you're being fooled which is very irritating. Tonight the guy was limping a bit, 2 years ago he was begging at the car park with a cast on his elbow and after an hour you see him walking without the cast. Just pay your Zakat to the Zakat fund if you don't know any valid recipient and rest assured that it goes to where it really needs to be.
