@hislam...partially agree with you on the earlier joint families thing. But with the lifestyles changing I guess satellite families are becoming more of a norm. Say for example I moved here alone and I for sure cannot bring all of my family (mom, dad, bro and sis) here...so for poor souls like me guess a hug from someone somewhere or anywhere is always welcome (not from men pl.)...:)

Rizks...wrong. That was my understanding too. But of late it seems bachelors are free to go everywhere here if they take care of a few things...grooming being one of them. I am myself gonna try it out this friday at CC, if I get time.

Globalisation is a discease. Free hugs might be needed for people with NO social life, no family no intimate friends....etc. Fo rthe countries where the house is over crowded with your relatives, what sense does this "Free Hug" make?
