this is what happened to this guy Brandon Joshua-Frederick Hayes,

http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/5622786-he-tortures-kills-a-4-...

----------------------------------------
24 year old Brandon Joshua-Frederick Hayes of Michigan isn't the kind of person you want to have dating your 16 year old daughter... But you won't really have to worry about that, because Hayes is about to see what torture and abuse is all about.Hayes has been accused of 9 charges, including 1st degree premeditated murder and torture... He systematically beat Dominick Calhoun with his fists, as well as kicked his arms, legs and genitals (as well as possibly burning him, his fingers were found charred...)Four year old Dominick had done a terrible thing: He'd wet his pants...(Hayes was also upset because Dominicks biological father wasn't paying child support - more reason to torture and kill the boy...)Hayes will very likely receive a life sentence rather than the death penalty and that's a good thing, because convicts absolutely hate people who torture and kill little kids, so he'll have lots of time to learn all about that from "Bubba" and his other new inmate "friends"...
---------------------------------------------------

it is not my intention to disturb your mood but i think we have to gather and analyse the problem and ask ourselves why people are doing this, and how we can prevent some kind of actions, and what punishment do u think he deserves ?????

voilent behaviour in juveniles could stem from their genes, traumatic childhood or voilent surroundings..

they need to be rehabilitated and treated during the period..

So how do we try to explain the Emirates national who raped and then killed a 4 year old boy in a mosque in Dubai during the last ramadan - parents, movies, games, environment, childhood, cartoons, animations??? Need I go on - sometimes individuals are nothing other than pure evil and its left to smart bottomed lawyers to try and deflect blame away from guilty parties by associating their crime with some peripheral social issue - doesnt wash with me, but then Im old fashioned like that!! I never did hear the outcome of the Emiratee case btw - anyone know??

Watching violant shows can be one of the reasons but not the "only reason"".

Yes, I do believe that parents have the responsibility to screen and oversee what their kids are watching. You can not control the media but you can control the environment in your household.

It's not about who produced those shows one shot.. it's how the parents guide them.. that's why in some shows they have a disclaimer "parental guidance is advised"..

the man seriously had a bad childhood.. he needs some psychological help!! :-D

Abuse and neglect are the major casues behind juvenile violant behaviour but watching too many action movies can alos be a reason. I've read about many incidents in which teenagers would set off to have some action as they see in action movies. Whosoever comes in their way becomes their target, gets tortured and sometimes murdered for the thrill of it. Kids who grow up watching animated, violant shows start thinking about life like a cartoon show.
