Silver Dhow are meeting at the Dana Club on monday 10 july. You need to book in advance.. - call Dana Club for details - but I think its open to new members. Three course meal, speaker, and socialising afterwards. Nice evening.

I also arrived Doha 10 days ago, as i finish my work real early i scanned doha 3 times. that is what i found

At night

Hotels have the best places to go. pubs, night clubs and cozy cafe's

Sports and activities

Sheraton and inter cont are offering nice yachting facilities. and you can enjoy a day trip fishing and surfing

Shopping

Old market at doha city centre. and for conditioned markets City centre bear the four season hotel.

My advice, you have to buy DVD and alota movies, u will need it

Unlike past summers there will be no summer festival this year, thankfully.

Here's my short list:

Zoo (unpleasant considering the heat and odors).

Beach.

Movies.

Malls.

Dining.

Unfortunately museums, theatres, galleries and parks are not on the menu.
