Another new face in Qatar

Hi all

Been looking through the forums and they have all been very helpful. As the subject suggests I am new and alone in Qatar and have so far found it to be a great place. Can anyone tell me the best places to go of an evening and on weekends where ill be able to meet people for a few beers who are in the same situation ? I love going out for a beer but there are only so many you can have on your own !! Be good to hear from you !

Welcome aboard mate...and hope you have a decent stay in Qatar...you have just come so take it easy on the friends making part mate...you might want to get settled in smoother...

And as for entertainment, then there are pubs in the big hotels and you have so many people like us heading there...so just hop in grab a beer and start talking...
