I think there's no big issue here and not a big deal... it's easy just answer the phone and inform to call her as soon as you finished the party or meeting... teased or whatever from the company you have?, who cares?? loved one called. being teased is just normal specially when you were with your friends... nothing wrong with that unless it's bad, and you can teased them back anyway....

Most of the men I have known in my life have rushed me off the phone as quick as they can. I almost always get a call back in 5 minutes when they can find a private location to talk to me. Never a big deal to me.

dmighty...the thread is quite general...im just asking how the man reacts if he receives a call from his significant other during a serious discussion with a group of friends in a party. if a phone rings, everyones's attention will be diverted and more likely he gets teased. there are times when they go to some parties without their partners...

if he is in an ILLEGITIMATE party then he has some explaining to do...hmmm secret parties huh? unless he can say some alibi that its just a business meeting. he better watch out then!

your thread means the man is in a "party" that he doesn't want his wife or gf to know. Meaning a not so "legal" place to be in the first place (some place the wife or gf doesn't expect the man to be or shall we say a party the man is hiding from the knowledge of his partner), correct me if I'm wrong, because if it's a legitimate party or forum or meeting or discussion, then I think there is no argument to say that the call should be answered.

Speaking as the person most likely to tease the hell out of the person getting the call, I can't imagine ever doing it out of malice, it would more then likely be just a fun loving tease. What kind of people would actually seriously tease someone for getting a call from their significant other.

i mean its not all the time we are available to anwer phone calls. but our loved ones do have a priority. but when he ends the call it means "ill call u back later, im busy or in a meeting". but telling not to call is another thing...

Normaly i set my phone under meeting mode ig im in the meeting or discussion but of course the phone will vibrate. Normaly i will answer da phone if its frm the love one but if its from friends, i just reject and send them a template text saying im in da meeting, will catch you later. khalass.. what a small issue lolz

BUT if im with other gf, my phone will be under silent mode and will text her later saying sorry dear, i was sleeping n cant manage to answer your call.. she will understand hahaha

It is the teasing,especially when I'm still on the phone that gets me upset, it is very impolite, sometimes you can't understand what she's saying and I usually shout out loud I love you very much and to heck with every body, they can tease me after the conversation and I couldn't care less.
