AL MARKHIYA Al Jamiaa Camera

Hello!

Just to know if people are aware of a camera in AL MARKHIYA Al Jamiaa street (the one going to TV roundabout with palm tree in the middle).

I get two traffic fines!

The first 600QR without black point and the second one 800QR and 4 points!!!!!!

But now i'm aware there is radar, and people also because they brake but i can't see anything!!!

It's funny, the amount of people in the middle east tell me they are good drivers. I can handle the speed they say, I'm a professional driver, I can drive find after a few drinks, (nearly always Arabs that tell me that one!), its the others on the roads that cause the problems.

If all that is true why does the middle east have one of the highest accident rates and highest death rates in the world?

I think it is because of a lot of deluded people who think they can push their mustang a little bit.

No no,

First the topic was about this camera in this Al Jamiaa road.

I already get one in this street (600QR), and I stayed carefull since this time on this road.

But i get another one on this road, whereas I pass at only 80 on this road.

And I'm pretty sure there is a camera because other people break at this level and the first time I get a fine I saw the flash...

The existence of this camera was the purpose of my topic!

Not road safety....

well you did not provide full information then..read your post..and now you say the time is wrong and you were in bed..its not even clear what the problem is; whether you agree with the fine but didn't know about the cameras or whether you're saying you were wrongly fined:-)

Wow my topic make lots of reactions...

Sometimes i'm pushing my mustang but that's fine, don't want to make any accident to me and to other people.

800QR that's a lot?

I'm in Qatar since 1 year and an half and those 2 fines are the two first one (except one bad park in waqif).

But yours reaction are so funny!

Keep cool, don't try to spill your gospel on me.

I stay careful on the road.

And also the time of the fines is wrong, I was on my bed at this time so i'll ask for the photo and we'll see if it's realy me!

Be carefull of your heart!!! ;-)))

Peace be upon you, and how do you do IT QATAR?.

Regarding to your topic, I think I know which street you are talking about, but I have never seen any camera on the ground, but it could be hidden.

However, I have used that street many times and never had any troubles with Radar, as the speed limits there is Kms 80, so if you got any speed ticket, then you must have passed the speed limits.

Nevertheless, there is on the begining of each street and road a speed limits signs, so you have to pay more attention to that when ever you use such roads.

Take care and may God bless you.

Best wishes and drive safe.

If you drive the way you are supposed to, you don't have to worry about speed cameras. Have you ever tried THAT? Probably not.....

Which is that street? Is it the one from Onaiza Round to TV Round? If that is the one, how did you drive there at such a speed to pay Qr. 800 with 4 black points?

wow you must've been flying to get docked 800..take it easy buddy, that street is way too busy and narrow for those speeds. last thing we need is to see photos of you wrapped around a tree or you asking for help on how to get your car out of the police impound:-)
