my bad, but milli vanilli started in the late 80s so technically they're included :)

don't forget these also: REO Speedwagon, Journey and Bryan Adams

From memory... You must be my lucky star... Cause you shine on me - where-ever you are... I just think of you and I start to glow, and I need your light, baby you know... Star light star bright ...

radits, she was my ONE and ONLY "lucky star" back then. I'm still keeping her scarp bookS. I just loved her voice and her being a standout, which dad seemed to have a different opinion about...:((

But I forgive him now...lol

The embedded photo does not represent the 80s enough... No Marley? No MJ? No Stones? No Cindi? No Eurythmics? No Floyd? Nobody else? No MTV?

How about:

No cell phones.

No internet.

No channel surfing (not enough channels)

Music on cassette tape.

Games on cassette tape.

You call your friend's house (rotary dial), and his mother tells you he's out, "Tell him I called..."

He calls your house 3 hours later, and you're out... He tells your mother to tell you he called...

You see him in school, and you agree to meet at The Centre, 6:00 PM.

You get there at 5:30, full of teenagers (all boys), and you WAIT.

He comes at 6:15, when you tell him he was late, he says "Only 5 minutes"... Time was less valuable...

WHY AM I TYPING ALL THIS!!! THIS IS NOT A NOVEL.
