If you can negotiate your offer to include at least accommodation it would be enough for your to save and survive. The cost of living here is continuously increasing but the salary remains for some private companies.

This is depend on your work location.As long as you are withdrawing good salary. Find an accommodation nearest place of your show room and find a car lift for monthly basis. Avoid fast food and do the self cooking. Do it for 3 months you will realize how much you served.

For a shop assistant- especially for a fresher, above salary is industry standard. You can not expect much more for that particular post. It all depends on your employers requirement, not even your ability. There are lot of people here in Qatar living with family with a moderate salary around Qrs. 5,000/-. The savings all depends on your spending mentality. Anyhow, it is advisable to try for at least a sharing accommodation in addition to the above package.

For a post of "Shop Assistant", the salary seems to be very good. Then again, it's good for a Asian. They wouldn't be paying more than 5K for a Filipino shop assistant.

Accomodation depends on how much comfort you're looking for. If you're willing to share a room with couple of other's, then you're not gonna spend more than QAR 1,000 for accomodation.

But if you insist on a a seperate room / flat, then your budget will not be enough.

Cost of living is not cheap in Qatar, compared to ohter Gulf countries. But you should know there are so many who work for way less than your salary & still save! So It all depepnds on how you spend!

is not enough my dear, the minimum rent for bed spacer 800 for shared room 1500, transport 500 & for foods from 600-1000 self cooking.
