What type of salaries are general managers in the automotive industry earning?

I am a south african that is considering moving to qatar to take up a general manager position in the automotive industry. My next step is the salary negotiating part. What is a realistic base salary and what benefits should i ask for. My family will not be joining me, so is it normal for expats to fly back home every 3 months for short visits home?
