End of service (gratuity) would be calculated 21 days per year which has been implemented from 2005, as per the labor law, it has to consider from the 2005 up-to-date. If they willing to pay for the 30 years its depend on company.

Actually it depends on the contract you signed before you start working for any company in Doha. Each company has different policies whether they are government or private. For companies like QP, Rasgas,Qatargas, they are offering three weeks of your monthly salary calculated for each year.Ticket and other are depending also on the clause on your contract. If you are locally hired and it doesn't say in your contract that you will be given plane ticket, then that one is not included. Also, in some companies are shouldering the cost of cargo freight to send your things (i.e. home furnishing, appliances) back to your home country.

I hope this info helps.

I think it is only 3 weeks per one year of service not one month.

As per Qatari labor law which ensure the minimum right of the employee the end of service will be one month of your lastest basic salary for each year of service plus full salary for vacations that you didnt take, air tickets in case you are leaving the country for good.

Notice periods must be min 45 days max 3 months.

If the company has a retirement policy with benefits above the labor law then thats the one you want to take as your benefits will be higher.
