I am resigning after 2 years from a private school on 4th july, since the vacation starts on the same day am I eligible for vacation salary according to qatar labour law?
You will be entitled to to your annual vacation pay even if you resigned by 4th July . annual vacation shall be as per your contract,but the minimum days as per the law is 21 days if your employment is less than five years and 30 days if your employment duration is more than 5 years.
You will be entitled for vacation incase if you are continue to work after vacation.
if you already resign you will be getting vacation pay 21 days (as per qatar law) on the basis of your basic salary along with 21 days end of service benefits.
