Unfair Treatment

My Wife (Nurse) on my sponsorship after completion of all the necessary formalities at Supreme Health Council applied for Job. The Clinic told that they will pay 4000 after she gets the License. So we applied for License under the Clinic and after we got the license they are refusing to pay the said amount. We have paid all money for the Procedure of License, which cost around 3000 for all the process.

Now while the time of signing the contract they are saying they cannot give full amount for 6 months and if u dnt want to work u can go, we will cancel the license.

Can anyone advice us in this regard.

Thanks in advance

Im NOT agree with the above suggestions: everything here must be written in a paper, it should be properly stated in your offer or contract.

A lot of expat is always fallen in this kind of trick, a company or sponsors is promising a lot of thing and they are end up crying.

If you have a choice/options leave the company. its just a simple unprofessional act.

It is not uncommon for companies in Qatar to have a company policy to make certain contractually agreed payments only after the probation period (usually 6 months) has been completed.

Defies all logic but this is how things are here. For instance, furnitute allowance contractually agreed may be paid only after 6 months of joining. And should the employee live w/o furniture for six months ?? :p

Anyways, my suggestion to you is to have patience, if they say they will pay it after 6 months, then wait for it.
