company accomodation is good, hassle free. five or six years for the car will be fine, i think that's the usual period for installments. you can get a harley or one of those street bikes.  getting the license should'nt be that hard. salary and i think almost everything else is tax free. peace!

I'll prefer at the begining the company accomodation , I think it's better for a newcomer. About the transport , I want to buy a car with five or six years or a bike. But I'll need sometime to do this , for the driving license , permissions , etc ....

The salary is free of taxes , isn't it? Must I pay some kind of duties or taxes in Qatar?

Thanks a lot for your help. I have to decide now , and I think that I will be fine in Qatar!

about public transpo, there are taxis and buses but it would be better if you have your own car. it is more convenient and you'll save time because sometimes it will take at least half an hour to find a taxi, and besides the car loan is affordable. since the rent here is skyrocketing, for me it's better to take the company accomodation. it also includes utilities. it's up to you, if you go for the housing allowance and find a cheap flat, you can save the extra money.

ola senior! well about the work, if you'll be on the line it will be 4 days on & 4 days- off. they have a lot of good people there, they are easy to work with and they are helpful. maybe you'll just need to get used to the weather. i don't know about the pay package but i'm sure it will be ok. goodluck!
